Students must be in 7th or 8th grade to qualify.  Qualifications include an overall 3.75 GPA with no discipline record.  In addition to academics, students must also demonstrate character, leadership, service and citizenship attributes. If students have met the academic requirement and have no discipline record, the faculty then votes on membership.

This club is for students who are interested in creating an awareness of global environmental issues through education by becoming involved with efforts to help protect, conserve, preserve, and restore our local environment. Fairhope Middle School Environmental Club meets one Wednesday a month. Guest speakers are invited in to educate students on local environmental issues. Students use the engineering design process to demonstrate what they learn about our local environment.

The SGA representatives serve as a liaison between the students, teachers, and administrators at Fairhope Middle School. Homerooms vote for their SGA representative, and meetings are held after school.
